The Project aims, with funding from the Rotary Foundation, to initially train professionally, free of charge, 50 needy people who are members of the Nossa Senhora das Dores Catholic Community Assistance Project so that they can develop productive work for themselves, promoting insertion into the job market, entrepreneurship and generating income, and equipping the location for these and future courses. The Courses will be administered by SENAC (National Commercial Learning Service) and held in the Community's own hall, which will undergo adjustments and acquisition of necessary equipment, leaving this area available to continue serving as a training location with the support of partner entities and our Rotary Club.

The Nossa Senhora das Dores Catholic Community located in the Visconde de Mauá neighborhood also serves the community of 6 surrounding neighborhoods, totaling an audience of approximately 4,000 people. The group of Community leaders is formed by 7 people who are divided between religious and assistance activities, one of them being a Project that specifically serves people with low or no income, where currently one hundred (100) families are registered to receive food.
