Today all patients diagnosed with cancer must travel 200 km. to receive the appropriate treatment, carry out complementary studies and/or medical consultations and then return home. The transfer is carried out in most cases by public transport that does not cover the necessary biosecurity needs. With this project, patients would have a nearby place for adequate and comprehensive treatment, which would include psychological and nutritional support. This is a joint project of the Rotary Club of San Justo together with \\\\\\\"Abrazos para Sanar\\\\\\\" (Women recovered from breast cancer), who are managers and administrators of the project. The local municipality provides the land, labor, tools and machinery for construction and the salary of the professionals until they are granted by the Provincial Ministry of Health. Rotary Club of San Justo contributes funds for the integral equipment of the Oncology room. DETAILS: The project includes the acquisition of: 1) Class II Biosafety Cabinet 2). Four armchairs with body balance and position graduation. 3) Four adjustable IV poles. 4) Hot-cold air-conditioning system. 5) Audio system. 6) Television. 7) Furniture for administration office. 8) Furniture for nursing sector. 9) Furniture for waiting room. PURPOSE: Provide proper care to cancer patients in a coverage area, which includes the departments of San Justo, San Cristobal and San Javier. PLAN: Once the project is done, it seeks to find donors to cover the cost of it. Through a global grant and the contribution of several Rotary clubs, other institutions of the community, the objective will be achieved.

BENEFITS: Includes the inhabitants of the coverage area (150,000). It is estimated that 390 new cases of cancer are diagnosed in the area of influence of the project.
