The project \\\\\\\"Adding Value to Plastic Waste\\\\\\\" seeks to improve the income and working conditions of waste collectors in the city of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. It focuses on the acquisition of a machine to shred plastic, which will reduce storage volume, increase collection capacity and improve the marketing of recycled plastic. The project includes training in technical and soft skills, as well as the implementation of marketing strategies for value-added products. The space for this machinery to be installed is already available.

The target population of the project is made up of 30 waste collectors, distributed in three collection centers in the city of Santa Cruz located in the West, North and East of the city, they are between 20 and 60 years of age with educational levels from incomplete primary to secondary without high school, the average collection is 2.5 tons per month for each collector.
