Create a landscaping project for the implementation of the Botanical Garden and the revitalization of its surroundings on a lake island, following the principles of sustainability and environmental preservation, in order to develop a useful and representative space for the community through landscaping, in harmony with nature. The objective is to preserve and enhance the local flora, while also offering an educational and recreational space for the community. This project must respect the environmental characteristics of the region, integrating sustainability and biodiversity. In addition, it is necessary to develop activities on botany, ecology and sustainability in schools and in the community. The focus will be on education, research, conservation, tourism or a combination of these objectives. The project also includes the preservation of endangered plants, the creation of trails and paths that allow easy access to all areas, with signage about the species and their characteristics, using QR codes. The construction of a visitor center, bathrooms and rooms for workshops and courses is also planned. It is important to encourage the presence of pollinators by planting flowers that attract bees and butterflies, as well as maintaining habitats for birds and small mammals. The use of recycled or low-impact resources in the construction of structures will be prioritized. Finally, a policy of reducing, reusing and recycling waste generated in the garden will be implemented.

The total area of the lake island is approximately 1,200 (one thousand and two hundred) square meters. The local community totals approximately 34,000 (thirty-four thousand) people. More than 30,000 tourists pass through the Friendship Route, which includes the municipality of Fraiburgo, every year. The municipality currently has 38 public and private schools. The total number of students who will benefit from the project will be approximately 5,800.
